Spill pallets constructed with fluorinated polyethylene to withstand chlorinated solvents.
Fluorinated Spill Pallets are constructed using the same 100% Polyethylene design as the Ultra-Spill Pallets, which provides excellent support for heavy loads and increased accessibility for pouring and transporting.
While the design is the same, Fluorinated Spill Pallets are treated with a process known as fluorination, which makes them compatible with more aggressive chemicals and certain chlorinated solvents.

About fluorination - Certain chlorinated solvents are considered incompatible with standard polyethylene spill pallets. However, a gas treatment process known as fluorination alters the surface of molded polyethylene products, making them compatible with these and many other aggressive chemicals. The light blue color of this model indicates that the Spill Pallets and grates have been fluorinated.
Constructed with the “Cross of Life” Design
UltraTech Spill Containment Pallets are constructed with an innovative design called, the “Cross of Life,” which protects the Pallet’s structural integrity while bearing a heavy load over time. As more weight is applied to the top of the pallet, the cross pulls all polyethylene sides towards the center, instead of allowing them to sag outward.
